| | AM - 12 Twix/Coral Canyon. Just one of those hideous runs. #bumma. Started off with abs and about 2 with Twix. She was happy to be out running again, but was calm. At practice we had a long run out around CC. I felt pretty flat and blah right from the start. I hoped I would snap out of it, but it became painfully obvious that wasn't going to happen. The guys had to flip to come get me, but I sent them on their merry way. Had to walk for a bit and then just struggled on in. Got home and slept for awhile. (Peg grey 434.5)

| | morning - 6 Grass. Abs and walk with Twix. Did a half and half today. Felt decent. Hammy has been acting up again, so I skipped out on striders. (Barefoot '17 18)
afternoon - 2.5 DI. Limited weights and run in the heat. (Adios 470.75)

| | morning - 10 Sand Hill. Abs and walk with Twix and Molly. Have been walking the last couple days after bonking so bad Monday. Maybe I've been overdoing it, and this will cut me back a little. Maybe no big deal, but starting to feel better, so that's good. Headed up into the desert. Wanted to measure the Sand Hill, so we took that route. It is a beast, but I survived. (Peg blue 333.75)

| | AM - 8 DM. Abs and then a walk with the dogs. Did he tempo with the girls and some of the JV guys. We are missing quite a big group of the V crew, but those that are here did great, and the younger crew really stepped up and did well. This pace doesn't seem to bug the hammy at all. afternoon - 2.5 DI. Limited weights and 20 min run in the heat. (Cumulus 335)

| | AM - 8 BHNP. Abs and short walk with the dogs. Ran the time trial course and then an out and back in the River Trail. Kicked a ball for awhile until Carson sent it to its untimely death down to the river. (Peg black33 295.5)
I don't know if anyone reads this, but if you do, you should go vote for PV's Jessica Hill as Utah Freshman track athlete of the year on ut.milesplit. She was #1 in the 3200 (by 21 secs.) and #2 in the 1600 (just .43 off); both PR's set at State where she took 4th and 5th! It closes tonight and she is in a tight battle.

| | AM - 8 Twix/FireStation Loop. Ran a few with Twix. Then ran over to Home Depot and got some stuff for the downstairs bathroom project. Decided to finish the loop around into BV. It was a good run. (Kinvara grey 161)
A decent week. Had some ups and downs.
Goals for next week: see if I can build the mileage a little better. At the end of the week I'll be scout camping, so that will throw things off.
