| Rough first day. Went too fast for the first half of the run, then I threw up on mile 4. Definitley a bit too excited to get going. I just need to relax, eat a bit better, and work out all the crap from my system. On the plus side, we had a great turnout for the 1st day, and we have 107 kids signed up! Also, Hayden Hawks is our new assistant coach, so that's awesome. Looks to be an awesome year.

| Another 5 today out towards the Spectrum. We eased into it a bit more today, and didn't try to go 6:30 pace for the first week :) Felt a lot better today too. I just need to drink more water beforehand so I'm not dehydrated for the run.

| 5 miles by myself today. Had to go solo because I have youth conference @ 8:30, and I didn't want to be late. Got 7:00 average for my pace, though, so that's good.
Later that day, we went on a 'hike' at Brian Head for Youth Conference. It was at 10,000 ft, elevation, and I haven't ran on the trails forever, so I decided to run it instead of hike it. Really pretty up there.

| 7 miles today w/ 8*100 m strides. First day back on the trails as a team, and we did The Ridge too. I can definitley tell that all of the crap food and staying up late from Youth Conference screwed my system really good. I just need to refocus, rediscipline myself in eating habits, and hopefuly I won't feel like throwing up for the entire run anymore :)

| Got in to my Grandma's house in Ellensburg at around 5:00 PST. Ran 8 miles on the road. All of the roads are divided into 1 mile segments, so it's easy to know your milage, if a bit boring.

| 8 miles before we left for Seattle. Ran it along the ditch banks of so me of the hY fields, so it was a bit mor interesting than last time.
Went to Seattle today. Got some awesome clam chowder at Ivers, the went to watch a Mariners game. Got back at around 12:30 at night. Awesome day.

| 3.5 mile warmup, 22 min tempo @6:10 pace, and cooldown to get milage. It was only supposed to be a 18 min tempo today, but, I'm running at sea level in Seattle, so I decided that it'd be okay to do a bit more. My aunt tood me to this awesome trail by her steak center in Maple Valley. There was a canopy of trees overhead the entire way, so it was like running in the Rainforest.
We went and hiked aroud Mt. Reineer for like 5 hours today, so I'm gonna count that as my second run today.
