Went out on the trail with my older brother Fritz from Spanish Fork.. He had a lunch break and wanted to do a bit of pipeline trail.  went 3.7 from elbow fork in an out and back..slow average as his wind needs a bit of work, but great time and beautiful canyon...we both ran shirtless and scared numerous hikers.

Went home and found the Zappos box with the new Saucony Kinvara.  Put them on and did a 2.8 miles road tester...feel great so far.  Thanks for the advice Lily.  Will likely wear them in St. George this week...

Strange Pipline ritual brother...I'll keep it safe don't worry. Kinvara's eh? Do they have Chia built in?

I promise the kinvara's won't fail you.

They have a heel to toe drop and so they help your feet move more naturally-like if you were to be running barefoot. You can't find a shoe better than this for running. Promise.

Now as for SGM. It's a lot of downhill. So kick it on the downhill. Let the gravity pull you. Your pace should drop into the 6:50's. Just let it. Your time will be better if you do!

BTW-your bro is in Spanish Fork? That is where I live you know :)

6:50? Lily, I think you are confusing me with another runner. Spanish is where its at I guess.

Okay low 7's? Your time is going to be killer if you do
