| Today we ran to Art Dye and played that handball game again, and afterward we looped around on the fox hollow road. Me and Clayson went like two extra.

| Today we had 12x400m with a minute recovery. They felt pretty good but there was a really strong wind coming at us on the homestretch. If there is ever a day where we do these and it's not windy, I swear I could go 65's on all of them. Splits were 72, 67, 68, 69, 70, 70, 71, 69, 72, 70, 68, 67. Afterward I went with Mike and Cole on a longer cooldown down to deerfield and back on the canal.

| Today we had a speed workout on the track. I ran to the school and we did 800, 600, 400, 600, 400, 200. The weather was just right, it was cold but perfect while you're running. times were 2:29, 1:45, 1:09, 1:45, 1:09, and 30 seconds. Afterwards we cooled down on the golf course run and I ran home.

| We are staying in Park City over fall break so I get a day of high altitude training! I don't know if one day will make a difference, but whatever. I went out for seven miles following this trail that runs alongside a small river that passes the high school, and the place where they hold the xc invite. Overall averaged a 6:30 pace, but I was breathing quite hard. Especially on the last mile, because it was all steep uphill back to the hotel.

| Today on our way back from Park City my mom wanted to stop at a bookstore in Salt Lake, so I went and did my workout at Sugarhouse Park. I did one loop of the state course to warm up, then did 2 min on and 2 min off for the next lap and did two more miles for cool down. The one hill at about the mile mark is a real toughie.
