| Workout today. 4x1000 on the track, but Ryan made the last one an 800 which was nice. Didn't feel great on the last couple, but was a good workout overall. Times were 2:54, 2:58, 3:00, and 2:25 on the last 800. I'm running the two mile on Friday which should be fun. I want to run a 9:40 or something around there, but just getting a PR would be nice too. |

| Went out on Bonneville today, then found a massive hill and walked up it. From there we found a new trail we named backwoods bonneville and ran back on it. Good times.

| 9x400 today. Hit all of them in 65-67 which was the goal pace. Didn't feel to difficult so that's always nice. Afterwards we helped run the Mountain Ridge vs TImberline track meet and I was the official distance race timer along with Jamison. Afterwards I broke the school record in the 100m crabwalk with a 1:14.07. It really hurt, but I think by the end of the season I can flirt with the 1 minute barrier.

| Raced the two mile today. Felt pretty good, but the middle laps we just kind of sat on this Salem hills kid and the pace slowed painfully. we hit a bunch of 76's and 77's. With 800 to go i took the lead and pushed the pace, and with 400 to go Jamison and Zack took off. I just don't have the leg speed to run with those two in a more tactical race so I outkicked one guy but still got fourth. Once I get in a faster race I know I can go a lot faster. Shoutout to Zack who ran a 62 final lap to win the two mile!

| Good long run today. It was just Steven, Spencer, Justin and I. We wentt through Lambert to the top of spring and back down to the south end again. After that Justin and I did mountain run. Felt really good the whole time, and we were going at a good clip for most of it. Later I got like 2 miles of hiking from helping my friend set up for a party he was holding up drying creek canyon, however I probably inhaled enough secondhand smoke at the party that it cancelled out any benefits I got from hiking. |
