Beside the ATC races there are couple of very good 5k/10k races next to the Chattahochee river coming up in the spring(with less hills than the Thanksgiving HM). I try to make it to the HM. On a different note, some groups do speed work on the Cheney track on Tuesday nights; the Cheney track was build for the Atl Olympics as warm up track for the athletes; there is also a beer mile event on Nov 22 (more fun to watch).
