You know you haven't run in a while when you run four miles and the next day your legs feel like you ran the downhill dash.
PT and arm cycle.

I know the feeling :) Not fun. Nice running. And nice arm cycling (that does not sound fun :)

It was a good reminder of what it feels like to run.
Since I am too lazy to send an email, are those shoe wedges supposed to go under the outside or inside edge of my heal? I put them under the outside but I want to make sure that is correct.
As for your blisters, do you get them no matter what type of socks you wear? It seems like I have had more success wearing thin socks with LunaRacers. But since I like the added cushion of thicker socks I still wear them then suffer the consequences.

You are correct. The wedges go under the outside/heel portion of the shoes' inserts.
Yes, I guess my socks are on the thicker side as well. I love the LunaRacers, and this is only my 2nd 1/2 marathon in them. I'm wondering if the downhill contributed also.

I am sure the downhill had something to do with it. Those shoe would be perfect, at least for me, if they were slightly wider.
I would like to try the Flyknit Racers but they are $150.

It's good to see you on your feet and running a bit. It is such a humbling feeling to put in a few miles and feel stiff. Somewhere along the line we get to discover the solution to falling out of shape faster than we can get in shape--some magical elixer that preserves muscle definition and cardiovascular fitness for months.
I find for me the biggest challenge of getting back into shape is how difficult it is for me to be okay with not being at my best. Somehow I get to continue to let the fire burn and still find satisfaction in the journey. That's super tough to do with a creaky knee.
Best wishes to you as you continue to heal.

Yeah, those Flyknits would be great to try out. Too expensive, though :)
