A beautiful, pleasantly warm and sunny day.  I ran the trails behind my house.  Headed up to the radio tower ridge line and thought about running into N. Salt Lake but the snow was above my gators and I was wearing shorts.  So I took the BST back into City Creek and beyond.  The trail was muddy and snow packed (but not deep).  With the trail conditions and hills my legs were feeling very tire but a strange thing happened when I returned to the pavement at mile 16.5, boom my legs could move again.  My average pace for the 18 was 10:57 (143 bpm) but the last mile was 6:27 (163 bpm)- DOWNHILL.

Great job, Fly. Every time I drive by that area, I see those radio towers up there and I always think of you running up there and it makes me tired. Obvisouly, I haven't mastered the hills...yet.

Wow all the hill work you have been doing must have really helped your speed!

WOW, you're the King of the hilly trails. Those legs are gonna be buff, tuff and speedy kicking the asphalt.

So who can I talk into joining me on those trails?
