am: 10.5 today we did our first interval workout. 8x1000's. this workout felt really good, plus i had Tyson Boyer to run with me so that helped. he's a workout hero you know :) didn't really know what times to hit for everything so i just went with it but coach said not to go under three. first split was 3:06 and that was a good warm up one. next 6 were 3:02, 3:02, 3:02, 3:01, 2:59, 3:00, which all felt really easy and relaxed. last one was 2:56. overall really good workout.

Those are some rock solid reps on the 1Ks. What kind of rest were you guys taking? I bet you could throw down a low 15s 5K on the track right now.

well it was about .05 miles short of a 1k so that adds on about 7 seconds right? and we were taking about 2-3 min rest of a light jog.

that's pretty close.. i stick to my prediction that you are on the low side of the 15s!

I stick to my prediction that Michael stinks! Oh wait... that is the truth!

I didn't want to say anything because your girlfriend was there - but I figure she has a nose too and could surely smell you!
