am: 3. coach wasn't there this morning so we took it nice and slow :) felt very good to ease up and...jog!

pm: after a very very busy day, i went out with the team on a 10 miler including a 30 min tempo at 5:35-5:40 pace. i felt alright at first, then as it went by i just worked on making sure my form never dropped, which i feel i did pretty good on. pace and distance were the exact same: 5:37. good run. glad it's done and in the bag.

on a side note, today was national signing day. I committed to run for Southern Utah University. They have a very good coach, and solid team that all have high spirits. They just had a student graduate last year named Camren Levins who won the 5k and 10k at the college nationals and qualified for the olympic's getting 10th and 14th in both those events, then recieved the bowerman award for track.

after serving a two year mission in 4-7 months i will start my career in the fall season of 2015.

It was fun to be there with you. I've said it before, but... I have really just enjoyed working with you. You're a great young man in every way.

Mike, I've just read the news on Jake's blog and I wanted to pass on my congratulations. Well done to both you and your coach. Good luck for the future and I'll keep an eye out for you.

Congrats mike! It has been awesome growing up with you since first grade (isnt that crazy how long we've known eachother?!) and running with you since 9th grade! I am glad I have such an awesome person to look to for an example in running and life! I'm glad I get to see you run in college a little bit maybe if I'm lucky!
