What a trash day. Warmed up and felt fine. They moved the 100 to be the first event instead of the 1600 so Mason could make it. I was pumped when I thought the 1600 would start, but after I just didn't feel too great. Nothing could prepare me for how awful the race was. 200m in and I started falling off. Hit the 400 at 72. Austin passed me, then Kedric. Jordan caught me in the last lap. Don't even want to know the time. Sophomore year I got 5th, Junior year I got 3rd, today I got 7th. My lungs were on fire and I don't think i've been eating enough, I weighed myself before the race and it was like 2 pounds less than usual, but when it comes down to it I was weak and gave up. I felt miserable and coach made everyone run the 400 20 minutes later. I was in a heat with all the distance guys. I caught Kedric at 250 but I was sucking it up again. I started walking before I even hit the finish. Turns out I ran 60, which suprised me. I love it when I train hard and it means nothing, you really appreciate it after a senior year where it's a normal thing.

In other words I've basically coughed up my lungs since the meet ended

How's your nutrition?

Yeah. Check your nutrition and also maybe take a small break or cut the distance runs a bit short and then try it out. Also check your sleep cuz that could be a problem.

@Ryan I just got really busy and wasn't eating enough, it's better now.

@Zack every spring I get this awful sickness for two weeks or so, I think this is it(Hopefully). Last year the two weeks were during BYU and region, so I just want to get it over with.
