10.27 miles. This was the first run in a long time that I felt like I was holding back to try and be around a 7:40 pace. My actual pace was 7:30, and that felt fairly easy for the majority of the run. My achilles felt good the entire run. It was sore this morning, and I was contemplating riding a bike or going swimming today just in case. I planned on doing a 2 mile loop to start this run and I would gauge how it felt. If it was good, Id keep going, if I was concerned I would stop and hit a bike. It felt fine. My blisters are also healing up nicely and there was no blood in my socks after the run.

This is a blister I had a few years ago. For some reason I only ever get blisters around my right big toe.

Good run. Glad the blister issue is doing better. Could it be your shoes perhaps?

Congrats on your graduation and good luck in Ohio! A real change of scenery.

I have been wearing the same shoe for at least 4 years (same style, different pairs). I have only ever had 1 other blister. It was nasty but around the same toe. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2r7BD6bJmhM/T7ZeYZaWxAI/AAAAAAAACfU/9g0JFFMpvKM/s320/may+17th%252C+c+bday+008.JPG

If it is the shoe that causes the problem, 2 issues in 4 years isn't bad, and I don't know if I would have less blisters with different shoes.

I'm excited to head to Ohio. I'm ready to go now, but my wife wants to be semi close to family or a little while longer. I'm really worried about being able to fit running into a really busy school schedule, but thus is life.

Looks like a snail sleeping on your toes.

Wicked blister! Good name for a band.
