1:28:30 Got a ride to the top of Emi and ran down to Liberty park. Started w/ a .75 mile warm up then did 5x1mile repeats with 2 min jogs between at 5k pace. Not sure what my 5k pace really is but I held this pace for all 5(6:45-6:53) and it felt good. Last one was getting tough but I had a little tail wind which was nice. I tried for a 6th but it wasn't happening. Slowed the pace for a mile or so then decided to do one more faster mile since it was still down hill. Jogged to the park and did one lap on the wood chips. Then sat with the ducks in the cool morning awesomeness. I am happy with my run today. I can tell my legs want a rest but I felt strong and pretty good the whole time. I'll have to remember to put in splits later. |
