TM miles from home. Hiit afterwards. I haven't done a Hiit workout since Sunday(I think) and I can feel it.

I love hiit! My running is so much stronger since I started a year ago. I try to get everyone to do it :0)
I'm a real food and cross training advocate now.

Ericka, what type of cross training do you do?

I do tris so biking and swimming. It's hard to get in biking, swimming and running miles all the time though, especially in the winter. That's why I like hiit. Intense but short(most of the workouts I do are 12 min) so it's easy to get in and it's a full body strength building workout.

12 minutes long workouts?! Okay, know I'm curious! Where can I find out more? I'm training for Tri's. I got some fat to burn & I can make some great sound effects too. lol Josse, I think I ran with your group once. You all kick my butt good!

Awesome, I love tris! The sound effects are good. They mean you're working hard!
The site I get my workouts from is http://bodyrock.tv/ If you go to the All Workouts tab there are loads of workouts with tutorial videos. You just write them down and watch the video to see how to do all the moves. I do have to say, the team that runs the website get a lot of bad feedback in regards to the risque outfits and camera work. I've tried several sites though and this is the site for me. The motivation and intensity is there so I can look past it. I understand why it bothers some people though. Their new site is http://www.dailyhiit.com It's not really live though until the 10th. One thing they really push is eating a clean diet which, after really working on my diet, I wish I would have been motivated to clean it up before. It makes a HUGE difference. This site really helped me stay on track with both exercise and diet. Scott and Burt, you should check it out and see if it's for you!
They use equipment but you can modify the moves with free weights or other things you have around the house.

Okay the workouts on Bodyrock.tv are super intense!!! Not the same as my wimpy Hiit, not even close! I'm impressed! Like you said, the intensity of the training is awesome! Yes, a bit risque, but I'm from California so no big deal. I'll try a few videos and see how terrible I do. lol I couldn't find much about "clean diet", I'll check later. Thanks-Ericka!
