Recovery is just as important as the mileage and the hard runs. Lack of recovery=injury so you were wise to get enough sleep and keep yourself healthy.

Wow your HM fast approaches! Mine is not until September 20th! I think you will quite easily go sub 1:40!

Nice to know that you sleep in too :)Looks like you are doing good. Good luck with your half on the 6th!!!

I need a half marathon, what is the weather like? Maybe a trip to Mexico is what I need.

I am glad you slept in and got some rest, and I am not disappointed. I am frankly happy someone joined me with a ZERO.

How is the house coming?

April, don't know about sub 1:40 yet. To be honest, the last couple of week I've been feeling slow and heavy in my runs, but still, anything is possible.

Sue, many thanks.

Kelli, weather is great, you should come. Anytime! House is coming along slowly, but now I'm running out of cash and I'm trying to invent ways to finish the house with the little money left.

Ask for donations from all the bloggers and promise us each a week a year to stay in your little "resort" house!!!

From Eric Day on Mon, Aug 24, 2009 at 17:19:50 from 189.192.209.146

Cool idea Kelli. Donations can start @US$5,000 and give you the right to one week of the year =)

Send me your checks !

You might just get enough to put in a guest house!!!
