It is amazing what we'll go through for something we love. My wife got me running and now wonders why I push myself so hard. I simply tell her I don't know how to be any other way.

Already accepting defeat and buying a headband? :)

The pain of running is better than hacking a lung up every morning. If I quit running I would probably start smoking again. I have too much nervous energy, always have, and it needs to go somewhere.

Yeah Jr, today felt very tired when I got up, I had to battle with my head that kept telling me to get back in bed. First km was hard, but once the engine got warm, everything felt good. Even right now, I feel so much better.

April, defeat? That is not a word in my dictionary. Funny story: the other day I dreamt that (and this is the funny part) I was dreaming that I was smoking. I woke up from my dream's dream, and was happy that is was not happening. Then I woke up for real and felt like if I had smoked!! Funny....

Good idea to canalize the energy into running.

Okay you dreamed that you dreamed that you smoked? Wow! That is rather elaborate! I haven't quite done that but I have had dreams about smoking and been very upset with myself and then woke up and felt quite relieved that I hadn't really smoked.

Realizing it was only a dream makes it so nice, no? People don't understand it takes a lot to quit smoking, and that it is a habit that one can re-take very easily.

Hope we don't.

Lets keep running!
