Its been a while since I updated this, but my short-term running goals are simple: to keep running.


 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Long term...mmm...hard one, just continue running and having the luck a running races to keep on the edge, every so often.

Betcha that long run felt kinda' short(for a long run). Only a week out--I think you'll do great. Still shooting for a 1:45?

Honestly, it felt tiring...but yes shorter.

1:45...don't know. Not sure if that would mean pushing too much.

Haven't really thought about strategy, but, from the top of my head, this could be a plan:

First 5k take it easy, a 6:00 min/km pace; from 6k onwards, push pace to 5:15 min/km. The question is: can I sustain that pace from 16kms? I wonder myself.

At least I'll shoot for a 1:55. What do you think?

I think you could do a 1:50 without hurting yourself too much--6:00 pace seems a little slow to start--slower than your regular training pace. I say start at your regular training pace and then warm up into something faster but sustainable and then hang on until the end!
