Yikes. Maybe it just needs a few consecutive days off. Maybe some biking and no running for the rest of the week and see if that clears it up? That really stinks Eric I wish your calf would feel better. What day in February is the HM? I know I already asked but I forgot...

During the morning it was painful with certain walking movements. My wife gave me a massage after lunch and that felt good; so I'm a little better now.

I'll have another massage + heat + cold tonight, hopefully that will help.

Yeah, I'll take the rest of the week off, bummer!! When one is finally feeling results come in from all that hard work, this has to happen!

My HM is on Feb 22nd, still time for that ! (My daughter's birthday is Feb 23rd.) (I know it has nothing to do, but I just remembered)... =)

Sorry to hear that the calf isn't improving. :( April has the right idea. Take a couple of days completely off and keep up the icing. It's starting to sound like a strain which is a lot better than stress fracture. Sometimes we have to take a step back to take a step forwards. Try to be patient. I know, easier said than done.
