It's getting warmer in the mornings.  And, the sun is starting to come out earlier.  I'm sure there are some cold days still ahead, but I think I missed the most of the winter being pregnant.

I ran my 2200 W to Costco loop.  Coming back up 2700 W was pretty tough.  That's the most hill I've had in a run thus far.

45 minute run with 1 minute pushes, 6.32 miles.   After running I lifted.  Why do I always feel as if I'm encroaching on the "He-men's" sacred turf when I hit the weight room?  I think there needs to be more 35-year-old running women and fewer 20-something frat boys with overdeveloped biceps lifting weights.   I especially liked the "dude"  who was lifting in his baggy jeans, t-shirt, and backwards cap.  He did a few bicep curls and a little bench press and called it good.  I would worry about the smell of his clothes that he clearly meant to wear the rest of the day, but I don't think he really worked up much of a sweat.

On another note, the woman sleeping in the locker room was actually homeless and looking for a warm place to crash.  I empathize, but members are supposed to check in with our fingerprints at the front desk?  So, who's letting other people in? (I guess she's not the first  homeless person to use the club's facilities.)   Gotta love the health club.  I'm never bored.

I met Caisa, a former BYU teammate up in Daybreak for a run with her running group.  There was a nice group of 7-8 ladies.  I felt a little scroungy since several showed up in full make-up and fancy running clothes.  Some were a little more serious runners than others.  But, it was still fun having so many women to run with.  And, I enjoyed catching up with Caisa.  She's a super-mom with 3 little boys; a 3 year old, and 18 month old twins.  We ran a nice easy talking, pace.  However, I did feel Tuesday's pick-ups and weight lifting this morning.

It was sprinkling a bit when I started running this morning, but let up after about a mile or so.  I ran out to 1300W, to 7000 S, down to the river trail, and back to 5400S.  It actually felt really nice outside this morning.  The sun is usually up by the time I am finished.  I'm not looking forward to daylight savings next week and a return to running in the dark.  My total time for the run was 56:40.  (I thought I'd better start measuring my progress a bit.)  I think this route is a bit over 7.5.
