Saturday long run with Jenny.  We missed the rain!  Yay!  We sent happy vibes to Ogden runners, hoping their conditions were favorable.  Our eighteen mile run turned into nineteen due to some navigation errors on my part.  I resisted the urge to run .28 to reach 70.0.  I'm trying to reign in my Type A tendencies.  So, 69.72 it is.

7:04 average.

The argument could be made that tracking mileage to .01 increments is also Type-A-ish. You know you kick the habit if you only track to the nearest .5 mile... and sometimes round down!

;)

True. I just report what the garmin tells me. For some reason, I like those hundredths. I don't know why. I know they don't mean anything.

Ooh and now I'm resisting the urge to fix my spelling error in my post. It should be "rein" not ,"reign".

Ok. I give up. I am definitely Type A.

You're in good company- after all, the founder of FRB runs on a trail marked every 100m and can recite all splits. And he literally has a line painted on the road by his house to mark the start of runs.
