I originally planned on 10 miles this morning. But, I'm doing a workout tomorrow which should give me some extra miles, so 8 was plenty.
It was a beautiful, cool morning. It's nice to see the sun again after yesterday's downpour. I'm feeling stronger every day. I've noticed that the added strength work definitely helps with muscle recovery. I ran 1300 W to the River Trail at 7000 S. I saw runners dressed in full tights and long sleeves like it was winter. They must have been dying. It's not that cold out! 6:55 average.
I registered for Murray Fun Days 5k! First race back. I am keeping my expectations low!
I just submitted my info for CIM. Eek! I must be getting back into the swing of things if I'm thinking about fast marathons. We will see what the elite athlete coordinator has to say! |
