I would like to run an Olympic Trials Qualifier in the marathon.

Run my whole life, and then live vicariously through my children. (just kidding) , but I do want to pass on a healthy lifestyle to them.

Personal:

I've been running since I was nine.  I'm married to a fellow runner who inspires and supports me.  We have two children:  Cole (4) and Lily (18 mos.)  I help Bill Cobler coach cross country at East High School.

3.5 mile warm-up followed by 20 x 1 min on/off at Millrace Park.I always got a little shot of adrenaline and ran faster when the dogs at the dog park ran after me.  I'm glad there was a fence between us.  I had planned on 20 x 200 on/off at the track, but I've been so tight in my hips and achilles that I decided to play it safe and run in my trainers.  I'll be wearing flats on Saturday.  I just have easy mileage until then.  Right now nothing feels like easy mileage!  2.5 mile cool down.

Emily, you are really training well and getting through it! Keep it up just a little longer and runs will start feeling tons better. I am no expert though :) I have only run one marathon...

Kassi, that is one more than me! Allie, I'm running the Emigration Half Marathon. It's really low key, so I'm treating it like a tempo. I thought it would be good to run down the canyon.
