I warmed up to Millrace Park and ran 20 x 1 min on/off. I ran on the loop by the dog park, and switched directions every 10 minutes. My hips are pretty sore, so I didn't want to pound on the track. I like this workout for getting some turnover, but still maintaining decent mileage. I'm not sure how fast I was really going, since I felt pretty good the whole workout. I'm trying to maintain some mileage, but still get ready for Murray 5k on Thursday. Lots of stretching and foam rolling for the next couple of days. |
