I warmed up three miles to Taylorsville High track. I had the track all to myself this morning. I ran an up and down ladder. 200-400-600-800-1000-800-600-400-200. This sounded a lot easier in my mind than it was in execution. I ran a 200 recovery after the 200's and 400's, and a 400 recovery after everything else. My times were: 36.81, 1:19.67, 2:03.69, 2:47.5, 3:33.79, 2:48.63, 2:04.03, 1:19.69, and 37.29. I would have liked to keep my 1000 under 3:30, but overall I am pretty happy with this workout. It's nice to see my fitness coming back little by little. I cooled down the mile back to my house. |
