Personal:

I've been running since I was nine.  I'm married to a fellow runner who inspires and supports me.  We have two children:  Cole (4) and Lily (18 mos.)  I help Bill Cobler coach cross country at East High School.

Two weeks ago, Lily was sick. This week it is Cole's turn.  I didn't want to expose a babysitter to his nasty germs, so I just stayed home with Cole yesterday.  But, I'm committed to equaling, or bettering last week's mileage.  It's going to take some work, though.  I'm glad I got a long day on Monday.

I went to the Oval this morning because I didn't want to run in the dark.  I warmed up 3 miles and ran 20 x 200 on/off.  Either I'm still tired from Monday, or my body doesn't like moving that fast at 5:00 a.m.  I really thought I would hit them faster based on last Tuesday's workout.  Most of them were mid 37's with a couple at 38, and a couple at 36.  I cooled down until I hit 9 miles.  I'm planning on a second run tonight.  Yay!  Doubles!

PM 5 miles at the club. I signed up to run the Provo City Half Marathon today. I'm excited to race again!

That's a great workout to really get the legs moving.

Provo City will be a lot faster this year w/ the new course! :-)
