I actually got in a "long run" today! Yay! I spent 80 minutes water running...I even did some speed work. I had to quit the speed stuff after about an hour because I felt like I was getting shin splints - in the water! - who knew? Overall, I feel pretty good about what I accomplished. Next weekend, I will try to do 100 minutes, and 120 the week after that. Hopefully all this time in the water will actually help me not to lose all my run-ability.... |
