I started ou the morning with bootcamp, where we did an upper body workout with intervals. Then I went over to the track to do some speedwork. I warmed up for a mile in 8:29, the did quarter-mile intervals at a 7:30 pace. For the last one I decided to run at a more challenging pace, and I did it in 1:23. I maxed out at a 5:17 pace. The total time spent running with warm-up and cool-down was 27:21.
This evening we went to the lake to swim in the open water. I did a mile with the "fast" guys, and finished around 5 minutes behind them...I figure it was about 34-35 minutes. |
