After bootcamp this morning I did a 15 mile bike ride with my friend Kim...even though it wasn't as hot as usual, we felt sluggish...so we just took it easy around the neighborhood, and finished in 58:26.
This evening, I went to the gym and hopped on the treadmill for a few intervals. I warmed up starting at 5.0 MPH and adding 2/10ths every 30 seconds until I reached 8.5 MPH, and finished a mile in 8:59. Then I did some intervals, starting at 6.5 MPH and increasing 1 MPH every minute to 9.5. I repeated it 3 times, and on the last one I tacked on 30 seconds at 10 MPH and 30 seconds at 10.5 MPH. Then I cooled down at 6.5 MPH. All together, I did 3 miles in 23:50...no walk breaks. :D |
