Short-Term Running Goals: Start running again and run 1:30 for a half marathon this fall.
Long-Term Running Goals: Break 3 hours for the marathon
Sub 17 5K, Sub 36 10K.

| Tonight did a really tough 60 minutes on the Octane, 10.03 miles. Really really sore from yesterday. Whole body sore, like I ran a race yesterday. Had tightness and irritation in adductor longus in the middle of the night. No pain today. Piriformis and adductor longus sore. |

| Ran a pretty tough, yet solid 6.5 miles from home down around Collet Park and back in 47:33. Had 24:42 half way. Quads are so so beat up now. Actually started feeling more "efficient" the last two miles w/ the last mile in 6:45. Got to stop at Collet Park and stretch at my Collet Park Tree. Whole upper left hamstring very tight and weak feeling the first mile. Cardio wise, felt awesome. Cool 32, light breeze, full moon. |

Managed just 11 minutes on the Octane. Just didn't feel well and pretty sore from yesterday.

| Ran a pretty strong 6.5 miles from home down around Collet Park and back, same as Sunday night in 45:09. Had 22:29 half way. Had a really strong 15 mph N headwind w/ rain/snow mix on the way back. Face and lower legs were numb when I finished and the rain drops were so huge it hurt on my face. But, no pain whatsoever, brief tenderness in piriformis and left hamstring the first mile. |

| No running today. Yesterday morning as I got into the car, I felt pain in my adductor, original pain in the original location when I first got injured. So, didn't do anything at all yesterday except stretching. So, tonight, did 99 minutes on the Octane. No pain during workout whatsoever. Will see how it feels in the morning. Really really tough doing the Octane tonight. Going 99 minutes was kind of accepting "it's going to be a while..." rather than an off-day 30 minute workout... |

| Ran a really tough 2+ miles out at Hawthorn Park today. Was wanting to go about 45 minutes, but just didn't feel all that great. No pain or irritation during run. Time 16:38 |
