Personal:

I am married and have two wonderful kids, 14 and 10.  I've been running since 1982.  I never get "basic" injuries.  I always get the real nasty career threatening kind, like stress fracture of the sacrum, ganglion cyst clamping  down on my peroneal nerve.

Got up and ran the Seelyville 5K race this morning in a really good time, 17:41.  Went out in 5:41,5:51,5:51.  Really happy about this race.  Temp was cool, 64.  Ran easy 3 mile warmup, then easy 4.5 mile cooldown w/ the first 2.5 at 7:00 pace.  Someone was baking Garlic Toast early in the morning!  The smell was really strong at about the half mile mark in the race.  Later in the afternoon, ran a pretty good 5.5 miles w/ Jacki from Meadows through Deming Park and Woodridge and back 38:39.  Temp still cool, but more humid, 67.  Legs still felt good.
