Ran 2:57 marathon in college 20 years ago.

Most all of my PRs are from when I was 29 and 30.

Half Marathon PR 1:17:16 (my best race ever 53rd place Indy Mini 1999)

10 Mile PR 57:22

15K PR 53:24

10K PR 34:29

5K PR 16:32

Short-Term Running Goals:

Start running again and run 1:30 for a half marathon this fall.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Break 3 hours for the marathon

Sub 17 5K, Sub 36 10K.

Personal:

I am married and have two wonderful kids, 14 and 10.  I've been running since 1982.  I never get "basic" injuries.  I always get the real nasty career threatening kind, like stress fracture of the sacrum, ganglion cyst clamping  down on my peroneal nerve.

Ran a pretty good 13 miles w/ Jacki in 1:38:37 starting out at Hawthorn, going through Rose-Hulman, Woodridge, Deming Park and even Terre Vista before heading back.  Steady light rain the whole way.  The trails in Hawthorn Park were a little muddy and standing water.  At least it was a "warm" 57 degrees.  Started to feel yesterday's workout about 10 miles in.

Your training seems to be going good. How do you feel things are shaping up for Indy?

I'm really excited as I'm faster than I was last fall. I've been training with some good people and have worked on my speed, so I'm shooting for a top 100 finish. Good luck to you. These next two weeks are going to be tricky.
