Nice 16 mile run down the course. Met up with Logan, Clyde, Paul, and Nate then drove up to Veyo. Logan, Clyde and Paul took off, since Logan had to hurry back to town. Nate ran with the first 7 with his brother, and right when we were taking off ran into Mike, Art, and another neighbor. That was exciting for me since I haven't seen Mike for a few weeks. I just decided to do an easy 7 with him, right around 8:45 pace, then was fine with me considering the hard speed workout yesterday and still trying to get over being sick and little nagging injuries.

Once we hit Diamond Valley, I stopped got a drink stretched a bit and then told Mike I was going to run the next 9 a little faster. Got going good and caught back up with Nate who had been waiting at his brother's car.

The last 9 miles down the course felt real good didn't feel like I was pushing it at all and still ended up with a 6:40 average. With about 1 mile to go and decided to try to break the one hour mark. Ran like 5:57 on the last mile to put me at 1:00:04

I'll try to do a few more tonight to put me at 60, we'll just see. It is Sunny's Birthday today, so we'll do whatever she wants today.

Good job and nice finish today. Thanks to you and Nate for driving. I think we made it back in time for Logan.

Do something for Sunny she'll never forget...

Dustin, great to see you today. Thanks a million for running, but mostly talking for a few miles today.
