Good 7 mile run this morning. I ran over to the high school and back, which was 6, then decided to add the mile loop past the stake center and up along 100 East.

Pretty good workout tonight.  I decided to do 5x1000m @ CV pace with 2:00 min rest

2.5 mile warm-up

1-3:31 (5:39 pace) Felt easy

2-3:33 (5:42 pace) Too relaxed

3-3:27 (5:33 pace) Picked it up here and started to feel a little tired

4-3:26 (5:31 pace) Good repeat here

5-3:23 (5:26 pace) Gave myself an extra minute rest on the recovery, then pushed it hard, legs tired on this one.

1 mile cool-down home, then 2 miles easy after dinner with Sunny.

Overall, a good day of training.

What is the goal weight? At what weight is the little budda, a flat budda? Hey, nice job getting the miles in.

Nice to see you up and about in the dark morning! Dustin Runs better with little budda. gives him a swagger! He could give Marci a run for her money!

The little budda is still struggling to lose some weight. However, I'm going to predict he'll come in right around 145 just in time for Ogden. However, the big belly drop will be in October for St. George. The little budda will be going sub 140.

like wise.

You weren't part of that crazy 30 mile training run I've been reading about were you? You guys are crazy. Keep up the good work.

No races coming up anytime soon for me. I'm too far out in the middle of nowhere to travel very often. Summer and weekends are really hard to get off for me.

I am planning on running the Bryce Canyon half and hopefully the St. George Marathon, if the lottery goes well. If I don't get in I'll be crushed. I hope you have an inside man that can make it happen for me if needs be?
