Did the La Verkin 5k loop this morning, at least I think that was the route as I was still pretty much asleep. The morning runs are rough on my ankle and other joints, seems like it takes me forever to get warmed up.

Decent run tonight, went over 600 North trail to the new Maverick store where Sunny picked me up.  Pace was 7:45, which was ok.  I went into the running store this afternoon to visit with Steve. We talked a little about the Grand Slam, and I think maybe I will not do it this year.  I think I'll just focus on the following:

1. Run a decent Ogden

2. Continue to lose the weight

3. Increase the mileage

4. Work on developing some speed over the summer, try to run some fast 10K's and halves,

5.  Shoot for sub 2:40 this fall at St. George.

I am all signed up for ogden. Ready to rumble! Now comes the hard part training!

Steve wants to run it for sure. I am not sure which team he would be on.

Good job so far this week Dustin. I think with consistent training you can go sub 2:40 for sure but I really think you have the potential to go sub 2:30. For reals.

Dustin can go sub 2:30. No doubt.
