Yesterday's track workout gave a good confidence boost, so wasn't too concerned about working this "long" run too hard. Planned on just cruising a bit under 8 minute pace, but after the second mile (8:02 and 7:54), I decided to negative split the rest of the way. Finished with 7:46, 7:42 and 7:18 before doing the last .3 cool down at about 10 minute pace. Beautiful day on the trails... sunny and 52. |
