Ravine trail clockwise plus north loop (5:12) - all miles sub 7:45 - hey, its something! Wasn't light enough to hit the trail until nearly 7 - at this rate, I'm gonna have to shift to running in the neighborhood soon.

Doug - I saw you dipped under 160. As you know, the quickest way to improve your VO2 Max is to drop the pounds.
Have I reccomended Matt Fitzgerald's new book "Racing Weight" to you yet. I've learned much from it.

Ideally, I'll drop 8 or so more before ramping up the sprinting and lifting to level off around 155 by January. The learning and the knowing are never the problem for me... its the doing and the following through that trips me up. I must say that over the past couple months this blog and the interaction with you and Bret has helped a lot with motivation and consistency.
