Hey Doug - I assume "MTB" is mountain bike - is the trail paved or just an unfinished/dirt path? Is the alternating between running and cycling keeping the PF problem under control?

Right, mountain bike - 2 miles paved to the trails from my doorstep, then mostly packed dirt/clay with some sandy sections. Been alternating run/bike (and alternating road/mtb as well - not really much into mountain biking but I can get a good workout in 45 minutes) for 4 weeks now and yes, seems to help greatly with the foot. I plan to increase running mileage gradually during the next month. There are a few XC 5Ks during my son's upcoming season that have open/old folks divisions, and I would like to run those comfortably.
