Yes, I know, I've joined the blog and gotten off a lot but I'm getting sick of strava. So here's how things have been so far at SUU: I made the top group at the progression run, then solidified it at the road race, but am redshirting this cross season to adjust to college intensity. Runs and workouts have been stellar, I find myself hiting times and volume I'd never dreamed of a few months ago. I've averaged 72 mile weeks, 12 miles a day. At our road race, I ran 25:40 for 8k, which was actually my goal for the whole season during the summer. I had my first race, the BYU Autumn classic, where I ran 21:38 for 4.2 miles and placed 25th.

However, last week my knee started hurting really bad so coach Houle is having me take this week off, so I'll be cross training for my first week back blogging. I'm not supposed to do anything today, so I'll probably start cross training either tomorow or wednesday. One little speedbump isn't the end of the world, and I feel more motivated now than I have probably since junior year.
