So, in the Iron Man is it 4 loops? I am confused.

The full distance is 3 loops... Blah!!! 1 is bad enough... 2 makes you crazy... And, I don't want to know what 3 is like! :S We didn't do a full 2 loops because my friends wanted to end right on 16 miles. Each loop is roughly 8.7 miles.

I shouldn't call it a loop because we run up and down the streets.

Hopefully the scenery is decent!

Which course is this? Your paces were awesome!

OH, I was gonna ask you---have you ever run the Hurricane Half? The course looks hard, not sure if I want to race it or just run it. We will be in St George that weekend and I have to find some way to get in a run without getting in the way too much of the family vacation!

It's downtown st george. The course makes an M with a diagonal run uphill and back... mostly houses for scenery.

The hurricane half was a good course when they ran it down from Virgin. Now I think they start out at sand hollow reservoir. There is a group of rollers and one tough hill at the beginning. Beautiful scenery though!!

It looks HARD! But maybe hard is a good thing! I could use a little forced hard running. I have not raced in a long time...I think I may have forgotten how to do it.

Some of my friends love the Hurricane half. they thinks it's an easy course. I disagree... Last saturday I ran an out and back marathon on the hurricane half course. It had it's good moments! :)
