Tempo run at Liberty. It's about 1.5 miles down there and then we did a 5 mile tempo run on the inside concrete loop. He told me and my teammate to go for a 6:10 pace so we did just that. It was pretty good! The splits were 6:14, 6:11, 6:08, 6:06: 6:03 which made for a total of 30:32ish. I felt really good. Last couple of miles were a bit tiring. I also had some stomach pain at the end and only barely made it to a bathroom. We then ran 1.5 miles back to make the 8. |
