BYU-I indoor track. Very easy miles (still sore from Saturday's miles). Conditions outside almost seem safe enough for me to man up and run outside.

I saw your post on the forum, and I agree. You can definitely work your way down to a sub 3 marathon.

I started running at 38, and managed a 3:00:30 at age 41.

Being much younger, time is on your side. Check out Sasha's top 10 training mistakes, and be careful as you build up your mileage. Don't do any hero workouts, and give your body time to adapt to more rigorous paces and mileage.

Good luck!

Thanks Kam, I do feel confident about my goal having time on my side. Over the next year, I will try to rearrange things in my life so that I can have a little more time (the biggest thing will be moving closer to work). I have been very focused on not over-training. Whether I get my goal or not, I want to continue to enjoy running!
