Running fool

I met Riley, Jon, Ben, Matt, Ken, and Manny at the 21st pond at 5:30am to go running.  We almost got sprayed by a skunk the first mile.  Average pace was 7:24 (7:56, 7:25, 7:12, 7:14, 7:11, 6:44, 6:50, 7:10, 7:16, 7:00, 8:29, & 7:53).

Ran from the Dee Event Center with Matt and met Manny on Old Post.  Average pace 8:08 (8:26, 8:08, 8:06, 8:01, & 7:54).

I met Riley, Matt, Ben, Jon, & Dave at Smith's parking lot at 5:30am.  Ran a two mile warmup and then Riley, Matt, and I did a five mile tempo/progression run.  Riley was kind enough to lead and pace us.  The best part was he broke the wind.  After that I did a three mile cool down.  I felt really good on my results.  Average pace 7:24 (8:37, 8:06, 6:39, 6:31, 6:26, 6:19, 6:15, 8:11, 7:43, 9:03).

I met Ben, Ken, Jon, & Jon at the 30th street parkway.   My legs were really tired today, but I kept up the best I could.  After going out five miles Jon and I turned around.  If he wasn't running with me I would have gone slower and who knows might have stopped to rest for a bit.  Average pace was 7:30 (7:42, 7:09, 7:15, 7:43, 8:20, 7:13, 7:21, 7:20, 7:32, & 7:21).  Tomorrow is an easy five miles and I am looking forward to it.  

Met Matt this morning at the Dee Event Center.  Ran an easy five.  I need to go to bed earlier, because I was very sleepy tired this morning.  Average pace: 8:03 (8:32, 8:00, 7:55, 7:58, & 7:51)

Met Matt at OHS. Ran ten miles out to South Ogden with a 2-mile pickup at the end. Average pace: 7:33 (8:04, 8:17, 8:07, 8:03, 8:01, 7:38, 7:23, 7:30, 6:17, and 6:06).
