Matt and I met at my house at 5:15.  We jogged a mile to Weber State's gym to do a workout.  We did another mile inside and the started out workout.  The plan was 4x1.5 miles at 6:00 pace with a 2:30 rest/jog.  We did the first one in 9:02 which was pretty tough and rested 3:00.  The next one was our best at 8:58 with 3:00 rest.  The next one Matt dropped off a bit and I ended up slower then I would have liked also at 9:09 with 3:00 rest.  At this point we were both really tired.  We decided to cut the last one to a mile which we did and finished with a 6:02.  Overall it was a good workout, especially with all the black ice we hit with just our mile warm up.
