Went out around 9 and still could see my breath a little. I love it. But this perfect running weather won't last long. Soon it will be freezing cold. My right knee has been acting up a little, not enough to slow me down, but enough to stiffen up during the day when I've been sitting. It isn't the same knee that was giving me problems about 18 months ago. On a non-running note I took my kids with my parents to the Brigham City temple open house. I don't mean to sound sacrilegious but it was miserable. We waited for 1.5 hours in a line that went all the way around the block, and I mean all the way, only to wait in more lines once inside the parking garage. Once inside it smelled like BO and you were rushed through so fast with such big crowds that there was no chance to enjoy the beauty. Disappointing. I'd hoped for a better experience for my younger kids.
That was a depressing paragraph but I had to get that off my chest at the risk of offending someone. Oh well. Next is a picture I snapped on my run. This picture looks toward the south-west over Utah Lake looking at Provo Canyon. The sun is just about to pop up. |
