9 easy miles in the afternoon.  I put 2 in my Altras in the middle of these 9.  I really like 'em but I did start to feel some soreness in my ankles toward the end of the 2 miles.  Maybe I'll put another 2 on them later in the week.  As for my ankles overall there wasn't much soreness for the rest of the run.  I keep saying ankles but my right one seems to be healed completely.  When I have a day off between runs all is good.  I'm going to run Wednesday and Thursday so I'll be curious to see how I feel during Thursday's run.  I think I'll notice an improvement over previous consecutive day runs so I'll probably add a 5th run each week here in the next month.

Great run! I am excited to hear how the Altras treat you, they seem like a good running shoe. I will let others experiment with them before I take them on.

Listen to the Podcasts yet?

I almost forgot I asked you about the podcasts. Thanks for reminding me. I just downloaded some and I'll check a few out soon.

NICE mileage! So happy your ankle is co-operating with the increase mileage! Smart to ease into the Altras. I can't wait to try out my new Kinvara2 that I won in TX. It is so light and comfy! :)

Hey Smooth, how is your foot? I hope you get better soon.

The Kinvara was my second choice when I bought the Altra. I'm waiting to see how the Altras work out to see if I can go with another light shoe. If I do I want to try the Kinvara.

It took me about 2 months to get used to the Altras. I just mixed them in slowly and now they are working great. I still need to get some instincts.
