8 miles at 5am south on the JRP into Saratoga Springs and back.  It started snowing just I after I started.  It wasn't enough to even wet the road for most of the run, just enough to tickle the eye lashes.  By the end of the run there started to be a little accumulation but not enough to make things slick.  My ankles felt pretty good during the run but are aching now.  I hope they feel good tomorrow because I've got another 7 scheduled for the morning.  It's mostly just my right ankle now and it seems to be taking less time to get better.  This healing process is excruciatingly slow but it is happening.

I thought this might be the first time this year that I've needed to shovel the driveway but no.  No one likes to shovel a driveway but this weird weather is a little concerning.  It is not normal.  (great for running though)

Crap, I accidentally entered this on Thursday.  Now I've got it right.

Glad to see you increase the mileage and the ankle getting better. Are you taping it?

Our snow blower is sitting in the garage shiny bright red looking like new! :) As long as the snow stays high up in the mountains, I don't mind this kind of winter! :)

I'm not taping it. I'm not sure that would do anything due to the location. The injury is on the inside above and behind the ankle bone. I've wondered if KT tape would help but I don't have any.

You can get KT tape at Sports Authority or most running stores. You can also Youtube how to tape the ankle. I think it may help and wouldn't hurt! :)

I'm glad to hear your ankles are on the road to healing. Take it easy and listen to your body...trust me - ain't worth it.

I just wish my body was giving me as much good news as yours is. You've got the peddle to the metal. I'm a little jealous.
