I was hoping to get out again last week but it just didn't happen. And before vacation it was the d___ Olympics that did it to me. I was staying up well past 11 which meant no run the next morning. Oh well. Speed is understandably slow. I had no expectations other than to just get out. But toward the end I tripped and took a nice face-plant. My knees, collar bone, nose, and forehead are all scraped up. Why am I posting this ugly picture?

Oh my gosh! Seriously? this happened on your run?!? OUCH! I thought you were going to say it happened in basketball or something. Oh Chad, the running gods aren't liking you lately are they? :( At least you got out...right?

On the upside...IF you want to tempt fate and run the new Utah marathon (any distance or even bike!) I have codes posted on my site that makes ALL races only $10 plus processing fees. Yup, a marathon for $10...or a half :) that is what I'm doing, just the half. Make it family fun and do the 5K with the kiddos! For only $10 per person, you can't lose :) Oh, and join the FRB team that Jake set up.

RAD - I've been getting relentless emails from the Utah Marathon and just treated them as spam, but for 10 bucks I'm in. Just registered for the half.

YIPEE!! See? Who can pass up a race for $10! I'm doing SGM the week before, but I just couldn't pass it up! I'd prefer to do the full...but I'm not that bored, or crazy!

I've been needing to sign up for a half or even something shorter. The marathons are out for a year or two but I want to get some speed over the next few years.
