     Warm temps with a very light snow falling. I went 8 miles with 3 1/2 on pavement and the rest on a little under an inch of fresh snow. The footing wasn't too bad and made for a nice run. Very quiet and peaceful. I started out quite slow and picked it up a little as I went and tried not to get slowed to much on the snow. AP 7:46.

Nice to meet another valley guy! Looks like we ran in a few races together last year. That Des News 10K is one of the funnest races I've done. My kids loved it! Are you running the TOU again?

I'm planning on TOU half again and maybe the full if I don't get drawn at Saint George. I'd like to do that Des News 10k again if things work out. I took another look at the results from last years Des News and looks like you had a great race. Beat some pretty fast people.
