Ran 8 miles this morning. I felt a little soreness in my hip for the first mile or two but it went away after that. I actually felt pretty good but kept the pace good and slow. 8:57 AP

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the advice and comments on my Blog. Can you describe your hip flexor a little more? My hip is still not completly healed. It still has a slight twinge when I swing my leg forward and raise my leg. It's right at the point where the quad meets the torso/hip...in the front. Now it's only there for a short time when I start to run, then it seems to go away. Later in the day when I sit for a while I may feel the same slight pain when I get up and walk away. Does this sound anything like your hip flexor?

That sounds just like my hip flexor problem. I always feel it while sitting in a chair and I lift my leg to put on a shoe or sock. Mine is also similar the way it feels better after getting warmed up but is sore later in the day or sometimes first thing in the morning.
