Ran 5 miles today without ibuprofen and my back felt good. I just ran an easy 8:23 pace and was glad to get in a second run before the race after missing 5 days including what would have been my last long run Sat. No run tomorrow and I should be good to go Sat.

if you didn't run friday then I am only 0.5 miles behind you on the mileage board.

"freeze your buns" 5K is next Saturday. I assume Keith will be there? I will run if the air quality is OK but not if the air is bad. how about you- are you going to do it? Should be a good race just to run for fun and see the local group. I don't plan to go all out, but if I have a chance to beat Keith I will give it a shot. But I am feeling pretty slow these days.

I hadn't heard about it. Where is it at? I may have to think about that one. If Keith shows that ought to be a good race. I think you'd get him.
